Emo Brunch Nashville Concert reviews
Kelly Shines
The best show to date for me was Emo Brunch, seen four times over the years. She doesn't need fancy sets and background dancers, as always. What makes the show unforgettable is her voice. In this set list, I love the diversity. From high energy songs to heart-wrenching ballads to bluesy covers, there is something for everyone. She is a down-to-Earth person with a great personality and the best voice in the business today. The Pikeville Expo center was surprisingly nice, never been to this venue before. The pre-show was wonderful, heard two songs in a small banquet room. They were beautiful, one was a cover and the other a yet-to-be-released song. The show is top-notch if you like good music and a performance without the glitz, just great songs performed by a fantastic voice. Her singing to a small group during the pre-show and sitting so close to her was really great. I would love if she did a whole concert like that. It would cost a lot to see this, but for a Kelly fan, front row center seats are a dream. It adds to her charm when she misses a few words here and there, only noticed by those really familiar with the lyrics or watching her facial expressions.
